Owner
With over seven years of experience in restoration and construction, Cheryl is a licensed asbestos supervisor dedicated to living a life of service to employees and the community. Passionate about cooking, playing with her dog, and traveling, Cheryl finds the greatest joy in being a mom. She thrives on the variety and challenges each project brings, ensuring that every task is approached with dedication and care.
Mary
Interior Designer
Former owner of Let’s Be Frank Designs, Mary is an incredibly experienced interior designer. She was recognized as the 2025 Best Interior Designer in Shelby County, and is an expert contributor for both Dunnavant Valley Neighbors and Stroll Magazines. In her capacity with Homeworx, she ensures that both our remodels and our renovations are finished with flair in a way that matches and elevates your vision.
Derek
Construction Manager
With five years of experience in construction management, Derek is passionate about helping people by repairing and improving their homes. An Alabama native, Derek grew up in a small town in northeast Alabama and has called Birmingham home for the past seven years. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, and camping. As a devoted father to his 12-year-old son, Derek combines his love for family with his dedication to enhancing the living spaces of others.

With over 17 years of experience in the construction industry, Chris takes pride in delivering quality workmanship, integrity, and results that last. His work is guided by strong values, attention to detail, and a commitment to serving others with honesty and excellence. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, spending time in nature, and making memories with family and friends.
